England's Grace brings a mix of Australian and European food to St John's Wood

England's Grace brings a mix of Australian and European food to St John's Wood

The people behind Terra Moderna in Belsize Park are coming to St John's Wood with a new Antipodean-inspired modern European restaurant.

England's Grace is going to be focusing on Australian-style brunch dishes during the day, while adding more Modern European fare in the evening, all led by Head Chef Rafal Jakubczyk. So for breakfast and brunch, you'll find dishes like blueberry buttermilk pancakes or crispy sweetcorn fritters with smashed avocado and chilli jam. Lunch includes bigger dishes like spiced crab cake and slow braised beef pappardelle.

Then in the evening, you'll find dishes like:

  • Sea bream ceviche, chilli dressing, black caviar
  • Roast monkfish escabeche, saffron cream sauce
  • Roasted guinea fowl, cavolo nero, shiitake mushroom purée, shiitake broth
  • Parsley gnocchi, gorgonzola sauce, walnuts & parsley crumb
  • Cardamom & vanilla crème brûlée

So this looks like a very interesting new all-day option for St John's Wood.
