Popular sushi company Sticks n Sushi are getting ready to open in Shoreditch. What will be their ninth London restaurant is taking over the restaurant space that was previously Goddard & Gibbs at the One Hundred Shoreditch hotel.
It's a pretty big space - with room for over 200 to peruse their menu of sushi, sashimi and yakitori sticks. We're told that the new Shoreditch restaurant will have a large central bar and a design theme that's a combo of Danish hygge and Japanese aesthetics.
As for the food, a look at their general menu means you can expect dishes like:
- Hotate ceviche with scallops, lime, chilli, coriander, red onion, celery & tiger’s milk
- Japanese wagyu tartare served with caviar & lotus chips
- Miso cured Ibericao secreto sticks with lemon
- Crispy ebi house rolls with tempura shrimp, avocado, spicy sauce & sesame
It all sounds like it'll do pretty well in that location.
