Milan's Paper Moon comes to London as part of The OWO on Whitehall

Milan's Paper Moon comes to London as part of The OWO on Whitehall

2/10/23 - Updated with details of the menu and new images

Paper Moon is the first restaurant to open at The OWO that's outside of the main Raffles hotel. The high-end Italian restaurant hails from Milan, with the original opening there in 1977 and they also have restaurants in Doha, The Algarve, Hong Kong and more. They say that the space in London has been designed around the look of an Italian house - that translates as featuring olive trees and greenery, terracotta colours, Travertine marble and more.

There's a high-end Italian menu on offer here, with dishes including:

  • Battuto Di Gamberi Rossi - pounded red prawns with crispy romaine hearts, finger lime and green apple with its cream
  • Raviolo - homemade raviolo stuffed with burrata, raw red prawns and datterini tomatoes
  • Pappardelle Paper Moon - homemade pappardelle with bacon, tomato and cream
  • Fritto Misto - Fried prawns, squid, langoustines, anchovies and zucchini with homemade horseradish mayonnaise
  • Ossobuco Di Vitello - braised veal shank served with saffron risotto

There's a bar in the restaurant too - where they're planning daily aperitivi alongside traditional Italian cocktails with a modern twist.

And if you want to know about the other restaurants opening at the OWO, find out about them here
