Miznon is bringing its pitas to London

Miznon is bringing its pitas to London

They have pita restaurants around the world and now Miznon finally has its sights set on London.

The international pita merchant, set up by Israeli celebrity chef Eyal Shani, is planning to open in Soho, according to industry website Propel. So far there are only eight Miznons worldwide (first in Tel Aviv and now including Paris and New York), but he has plans for another 150 so don't be surprised to see more in the UK after this opening.

As for what they do, it's all about filled pitas (the soft pitas themselves usually get rapturous reception wherever they open). They say they use fresh and seasonally-inspired ingredients to make pitas that "take the flavour of each city and translate it into pita". So there are a few pitas unique to each location but you'll also find regulars like:

There's a notably big focus on vegetarian pitas as much as meat and fish too.

Expect it to be a big hit when it lands - we'll add more information about the opening as we get it.
