You may have tried their food in markets across town, but as of last month, The Indians Next Door now have a new Spitalfields samosa and bhaji house.
The folks behind it track their culinary journey back to their grandparents moving from the state of Gujarat in India, to Narobi, Kenya in the 1920s, where they then lived in a Punjabi comunity. So their food in London today incorporates "the best of Gujarati, Punjabi and Kenyan influences".
Now they've got a fully fledged store to sell their samosas, bhajis and chutneys from. And their Spitalfields spot will be the only place to serve up their Indian toasties - choose from Masala potatoes (loving the double carbing there), lamb and chicken varieties.
