Love Food Give Food campaign kicks off in London's restaurants

action against hunger campaign

Some of London's top restaurants are hoping that you'll help them raise funds for Action Against Hunger this autumn. They've signed up for the charity's Love Food Give Food campaign which runs throughout September and October. The idea is that restaurant goers add an extra £1 on to the bill which goes direct to support communities in the UK and across the world who are facing life-threatening hunger.

Among those taking part are Hawksmoor, Smokestak, Goodman, Hakkasan, Darjeeling Express, and Caravan.

And if you're thinking, well what good would £1 do, well we're told that it will provide a mother with a day’s worth of life-saving therapeutic food to treat her malnourished child. So that's worth doing, right?

You can find out here which restaurants are taking part, but keep an eye out for notices on restaurant tables when you eat out.
