Beaverbrook Town House opens on Sloane Street with a sushi restaurant and Art Deco bar

Sloane Street now has a new boutique hotel worth checking out. Beaverbrook Town House is the London outpost of the luxury Surrey hotel with 15 suites overlooking Cadogan Gardens.

The hotel's Fuji Grill and Omakase Sushi Bar is going to be serving up sushi, sashimi and nigiri alongside dishes like ‘Charcoal’ Wagyu with Juniper Miso. You can also opt to let Head Chef Alex Del (ex-Roka) decide what to cook if you opt for the omakase experience.

The Fuji Grill's General Manager, Trudi Fairweather comes here after 20 years at Nobu, while the wine list is in the more than capable hands of Giovanni Tallu who, before he joined Beaverbrook, spent 22 years at top end private club Annabel's.

As for the Art Deco-inspired Sir Frank's Bar, that looks rather lovely, with lacquered walls, tables decorated with new and vintage Japanese matchbox covers and a mixture of cocktails from the original Beaverbrook hotel with some new London-only drinks. The hotel also has what looks to be a rather lovely courtyard garden if you want to take those drinks outside.
