TânVân sees a trio of sisters serving up family Vietnamese dishes in Ealing

Newly open in Ealing is TânVân Viet Eatery - an independent, family-run Vietnamese restaurant and cocktail bar. This is a new venture for sisters Erika, Elysia and Eva, but they've grown up around restaurants; their mother opened her first restaurant in London back in 2000.

Named after, and inspired by their late grandfather, the restaurant serves up the family's homemade recipes, including a 24-hour pho, prawn summer rolls with peanut hoisin sauce and aubergine banh mi with pickled daikon and a tangy sauce.

There are also rice boxes with a choice of protein, such as Saigon pork belly stew and lemongrass turmeric chicken, along with bun bowls - Vietnamese noodle salads and more.

As you might expect you can order Vietnamese coffee here, along with a richer egg coffee. There's also the option to make that alcoholic by picking The Cà Phê Martini - TânVân's twist on an Espresso martini made with Vietnamese coffee.

"All our recipes have been curated by adapting our family recipes passed through generations to create our unique taste, but keeping it true to the essence of Vietnamese cuisine, says Erika. "It's real food, cooked from the heart."
