Gino d'Acampo's new London restaurant Luciano may have been eviscerated in a review by the Evening Standard, but a new video on TikTok could change the restaurant's fortunes.
Kiwi songwriter Natalie Te Paa, who is completely blind, was blown away when she visited the restaurant for her birthday this week. To celebrate, the restaurant's patisserie chef had not only come up with some special desserts, but they'd also written Happy Birthday in braille on a plate, using melted chocolate.
"Are you kidding me?" the delighted birhday girl says in her TikTok, "you guys are amazing!" The video's now been liked more than 4m times on TikTok with followers flocking to Google to leave five star reviews praising the restaurant's big heart.
