The people behind Kensington's Romulo Café & Restaurant are coming to Soho for their next opening - Kasa and Kin.
This will be a combination of all-day restaurant & bar, bakery and patisserie, all centred in Filipino cuisine. At this stage, we know more about what will be happening with the pattiserie. On that menu will be pandesal bread rolls as well as pandesal donuts filled with purple yam & coconut and ensaymadas - those are pastry dough with butter and grated cheese. There will also be calamansi citrus tarts and pandan lèche flans.
In the evening, they'll have Filipino BBQ sticks, with more of that menu to come. We'll add more info as we get it.
