We were sad to hear that Two Lights restaurant was one of the victims of the lockdown, but where one door closes another opens. And today, P Franco announced that Two Light's former chef-patron Chase Lovecky would be their new resident chef.
"Chase has been part of some of our favourite kitchens around the world from Momofoku Ko, Clove Club, and more recently Two Lights," they said. "We are excited to have him cooking on the hobs at P. Franco."
Chase isn't the first Clove Club alumnus to take to the stove at the Clapton wine bar. He follows in the footsteps of Túbo Logier, George Tomlin, Tim Spedding and Seb Myers (who will be opening Planque soon).
P Franco opens for business on 19 May when you'll be able to try Chase's menu there for the first time. In the meantime, they're serving wine and snacks on the benches outside the bar.
