Continuing our intermittent series on London hotels who have repurposed their entrances into alfresco restaurants (so far we've had The Dorchester and The Savoy), now the Treehouse Hotel London on Regent Street has unveiled theirs.
The Courtyard at Treehouse has taken over the hotel's ground floor entrance on Langham Place as an extension of the hotel's Backyard coffee shop. They've brought in trees, decked the whole place and got loads of comfy seating. All that's in addition to their alfresco space upstairs, the rooftop bar The Nest.
On the menu, there's beers, slushies, organic and biodynamic wines and a selection of salads, sandwiches and flatbreads. Examples include:
- Blistered cherry tomato, basil and bocconcini on rosemary and sea salt focaccia bread
- Beef pastrami and artisanal Italian salami, fire-roasted pepper, organic rocket, mozzarella, and smoky tomato chutney on spelt sourdough
- Roasted chestnut and Portobello mushroom flatbread with Trivelli truffle oil, Greek feta and rosemary
