Richard Turner, the Turner behind the excellent Turner & George butchers in Islington and one of the people behind Hawksmoor, Meatopia and lots more meat-based emporiums has launched a brand new delivery-only service called Dickie's. Not a meal kit - this is all finished and sent to you by Deliveroo
As you can imagine, it's mainly all about meat with their slogan being "Meat. Done. Right" and will start in South London before appearing all over the capital. He's partnering with small producers and focusing on the very best free-range and ethically reared meat, poultry and dairy (alongside using sustainable packaging).
On the delivery menu you'll find:
- Cheesesteakburger (with Ogleshield from Jamie Montgomery)
- Grilled Pork Belly Ribs with Apple
- Braised short rib
- Chipotle Caramel Wings
- Dripping Chips ‘Poutine’
- 5 Cheese Mac ‘n’ Cheese
- Rhubarb Eton Mess
Alongside this, they've also created their own cocktails in cans, including a Dickie’s Corpse Reviver as well as a Malbec in a can. So yes, a Cheesesteakburger and a can of Malbec certainly sounds good to us.
