The low-down
The Dusty Knuckle's Dalston bakery and cafe space is stupidly popular - with queues round the block at the weekends. And they've also done great business during lockdown with their milk float deliveries. Now The Dusty Knuckle are expanding their operation with a new bakery on Green Lanes. They're taking over the space that used to be Yaalu, about midway between Manor House and Turnpike Lane.
They'll be selling their amazing potato sourdough and other baked goods along with top class sarnies, soups and salads. from the new space. But they'll also be opening it as a pizza restaurant, three nights a week, serving pizza from their wood-fired oven, including:
- Veggie white pizza with ricotta, fior di latte, potatoes and sweet onion
- Nduja pizza with their own house nduja and honey
At the weekend you'll find an all-day breakfast men with Egg, pickled chilli, spring onion and cheddar on focaccia and - of course - bacon sarnies.
"It’s been a 24/7 labour of love and we really hope that the people of Haringey love their new bakery," says co-founder Max.
