19/11/20 - updated with launch date and offer
Good news for any Walthamstow foodies wanting to raise their spirits with a bowl of ramen this winter. The newest branch of Tonkotsu is opening up on Hoe Street, bringing bowls of broth, fried chicken and strong cocktails to the neighbourhood.
The new restaurant - Tonkotsu's twelfth in London - will serve up their signature ramens with both the noodles and stocks made in house from scratch every day. In addition to the ramen there'll be gyoza, chicken kara-age and Eat the Bits Chilli chicken wings, plus the Walthamstow branch will be showcasing a brand-new vegan cauliflower version of those wings. They'll be doing both dine-in and click and collect.
Drinks include a sake made specifically for the restaurant by the Tsuji Brewery in Okayama, and there'll also be a new Minkan Shimoda Pale Ale made in collaboration with Thornbridge, along with local beer from Walthamstow’s Signature Brew, whose taproom is right next door.
