The Palomar launch a DIY Mesahane Kebab kit

The Palomar launch a DIY Mesahane Kebab kit

There hasn't been a great deal of positives to come out of the lockdown(s) but the steady growth of the meal kit business has definitely been one of them, and there are plenty of great meal kits out there now.

HG Walter has been at the forefront of this food movement, and their next limited edition - on sale for only two weeks - looks very interesting. It's a team-up with The Palomar. So, if you haven't managed to get to their restaurant counter since they reopened, this may well be the next best thing.

The Palomar Mesahane Kebab, one of the restaurant's signature dishes, is described as "an Arabic dish that the Palomar's Head Chef Omri first encountered while working in Jerusalem" and is made with HG Walter beef and lamb mince, fresh herbs and spices, before being grilled and served on a toasted pitta covered in the Palomar's signature smoky aubergine cream, finished with pickled chilli peppers, chargrilled onion and tomato. Everything you need is in the kit - just fire up the BBQ (or grill) and go.

It's £30 a box for four people - and you can get it on the HG Walter website here
