Bubbledogs and Kitchen Table might be closed for dining in for the moment (although Bubbledogs is on Deliveroo) but there's some good news for Bubbledogs fans. Sandia Chang is launching Bubbleshop which will be the place to go to buy the very best grower Champagnes - alongside a Bubbledogs kit or two.
The online shop will feature a hand-picked selection from experienced producers alongside lesser-known vineyards, with names like George Laval, Tarlant, Olivier Horiot, and Marie Courtin promised. It'll be set up a way similar to Bubbledogs - with choices split into “The White Party” (Blanc de Blancs) “Unicorns” (particularly rare wines), and “Rising Stars” (featuring the newer generation of Champagne producers).
To go with the champagne, there will be a range of Bubbledogs hot dog kits. You'll be able to buy The Mac Daddy (macaroni & cheese, crispy smoked onions), The Reuben (Warm sauerkraut, Russian dressing & melted Comté cheese), The Mexican, and The Chilli Cheese - each serving two for £20. They'll come with the restaurant’s serving trays and Bubbledogs greaseproof paper, so you'll really be able to recreate the restaurant experience.
Look out also for live tasting events, kicking off with David Leclapart on 7 August. On the launch of the shop, there will be a flash sale of David's Champagnes - on 27 July only - and if you pick one up, you can join the Zoom tasting session.
