Cookdaily is bringing their vegan bowls back to Boxpark Shoreditch

His London Fields restaurant may have closed, but King Cook is bringing Cookdaily back to Boxpark in Shoreditch (where it first started back in 2015), serving up his acclaimed vegan bowls.

That'll be music to the ears of all the well known folk who have flat out loved his food over the past few years. Everyone from Skepta to Professor Green. D Double E and Giggs have posted about their fandom for Cookdaily's food, particularly the High Grade bowl. As Cook explained to NME that's "our bestseller and it’s based on marijuana – that’s the twist of it really. It’s basically a sweet and sour smoky BBQ dish with hemp seeds and hemp oil."

Taking over one of the containers there, he'll be serving five vegan bowls to-go, and you'll be able to vote for what you want as the limited-edition special of the week. At the time of writing, the bowls were to be confirmed, but here's an example of what was on the London Fields menu:

  • Le Garden - sautéed veggies & greens with minced garlic & Herbs de Provence with vegan butter and white truffle oil. Served over brown rice.
  • Noodle Bowl - vegan udon noodle stir-fry with mixed veggies, beansprouts and roasted chilli oil, topped with “char siu” crumbles & lime.

It's not the only Boxpark that's part of Cook's plans - he's looking to take it to food halls next.
