At this stage, we all know that Calum Franklin at the Holborn Dining Room produces the best pies in London. But sometimes he has to let other people have a go - and that's where his upcoming guest series kicks off. This sees him joining up with a top chef for a new pie collaboration every month - and first in the queue is Tom Kerridge.
Kerridge will be creating the Steak and Blue Cheese Pie with Rebellion Ale and Onion Gravy - and that will be available throughout February, via the Pie Room hatch for £8. All profits from the pies will go to Hospitality Action.
On top of that, there's a special dinner in the Pie Room on 12 Feb with Tom Kerridge himself and that menu includes Rabbit and Bacon en Croute, Lobster Thermidor Tart, Truffle Roast Chicken with Gouda Mash & Chasseur Braised Leg and Tirami ‘Choux’ with Hot Chocolate Sauce and Petit Fours. That's £250 a head.
We'll have more details on future pies as they're announced. Because you'll probably want them all (we know we will).
