What: SABROSO
In a nutshell: Gabriel and Jose-Luis Gonzalez are bringing Venezuelan food to West London
Summing it all up: It's all about the arepa at this new South American dining spot opening up at Westfield London shopping centre
The low-down
It's been seven years since restaurateurs Gabriel and Jose-Luis Gonzalez first introduced Londoners to the joys of Peruvian food through their restaurant LIMA London. Now, with their next opening, they're hoping to have similar success with Venezuelan cuisine.
SABROSO is going to be a casual spot, opening up at Westfield London, where the focus is on the arepa. The stuffed cornbread - naturally gluten-free - will come with a choice of fillings, like shredded chicken with avocado, braised beef with cheese or with black beans and plantain and there will be plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.
If you're a poké fan but want to try something new, they'll be serving up build-your-own ceviche bowls featuring quinoa, salmon, avocado, plantain chips, crispy shallots, mango, coriander, cashews, sesame seeds, ponzu and lime mayonnaise.
As for sides, we like the sound of Tequeños, crispy cheese pastries served with homemade mango chutney and desserts include a Tres Leches cake and Alfajores (bite-sized shortbreads filled with dulce de leche and rolled in coconut).
