Linnaean lifestyle store and cafe is coming to Embassy Gardens in Nine Elms

Updated 15/7/19 with more cafe details

What: Linnaean

In a nutshell: Lifestyle store cafe in Nine Elms

Summing it all up: The Embassy Gardens development is getting a new all-day restaurant as part of this lifestyle store opening.

The low-down

Looks like Nine Elms is getting another place to eat. In addition to District Coffee and Darby's, the next place top open at the Embassy Gardens development will be Linnean.

This modern take on the hair and beauty salon, café restaurant and lifestyle store will serve up "a responsibly-sourced, plant-based menu with options for flexitarians". The restaurant space will have room for 36 diners. They'll have "Gut friendly pre and pro-biotic dishes" and will highlight "adaptogenic superfoods" (no - that's a new one on us too) like Maca Root and Siberian Ginseng.

If you're wondering what that might mean in practice, expect dishes like sweet potato toast, vegan cheeseboards and - where they do serve meat - it will be from high-quality producers.

The all-day cafe will be open seven days a week and is being designed by the Martin Brudnizki Design Studio who are behind places like Sexy Fish and Brasserie of Light.
