Last night saw a new episode of Fred Sirieix's BBC show Million Pound Menu and London-based duo Scott & Lacey's Tiger Bites - serving up Asian fusion street food - came out top. And for their efforts, they won a slot at one of Deliveroo's kitchens. Which means that now, if you happen to live or work in East London, you can get their food delivered right to your door.
But the even better news - if you don't have an East London postcode and still want to try their food - is that Tiger Bites have just started a residency at Rotate, a new Shoreditch spot.
On the menu will be the larger sized gua bao that worked so well for them on the show, including:
- The Kung Fu Panda, featuring Sriracha Mayonnaise, Mustard Pickles, Sriracha Sauce, Fresh Coriander, Spring Onion & Chillies topped with Black Sesame Seeds
- The Peanut Butter & Jelly, featuring Coconut Satay Sauce, Sweet Chilli Jam, Fresh Rocket & Crushed Nut
- The Buff Chick, featuring Buffalo Sauce, Blue Cheese Sauce, Fresh Rocket & Spring Onion
- Katsu Outside, How Bao Dat? Dipped in Warm Katsu Curry Sauce with Pickled Ginger, Spiralled Mooli, Fresh Coriander & Chilli
The residency kicks off for three months from Feb 15 - so you can head down there from Friday.
