Updated 14/2/19 with soft launch details
What: Juno Rooms
In a nutshell: New City bar and restaurant for Watling Street
Summing it all up: Expect a punchy cocktail list and all manner of fun, casual dishes at this new two floored bar and restaurant in the City.
The low-down
The City is getting an interesting new bar and restaurant next month. Juno Rooms is the latest from the Urban Pubs & Bars group who recently bought up Salt Yard and are also responsible for places like Paradise by way of Kensal Green and Well Street Pizza in Hackney.
They've taken over the old Carmona Tapas Bar on Watling Street (we're presuming that connection with the Romans is where the name comes from), with two floors of casual dining and cocktails planned.
On the food front we've seen a few sample dishes that might be on the menu like:
- Chicken ramen burger, fries in a cream bun with crispy shallots, tomato, gem lettuce and sriracha ketchup.
- Strozzapreti with roast squash, sage, black cabbage, fried breadcrumbs
- Crab linguine, garlic, chilli, basil
