So this is a rather lovely idea, next weekend the bustle of the kind of floating markets you're more likely to find in Bangkok will be coming to West London. For five days Paddington Central will play host to The Floating Market combining market stalls with boat traders.
On offer will be a wide range of food, drink and artisanal produce from local farmers as well as local producers such as Freddie's Flowers, Crazy Dave Cider, Local Honey Man, Lamar Scarves and Woza Biltong.
London Shell Co.'s will put on a pop up English sparkling wine bar and various Paddington Central businesses will be out and about with their tasting carts such as Smith’s Bar & Grill, Lords of Poke, HUCKSTER, Coco di Mama, Tossed, The Union, Darcie & May Green, Department of Coffee & Social Affairs and Beany Green.
There's no word yet on whether they'll roll this out to other weekends, but if it's a success, why not?
