It's long been a popular spot in Brixton for Jamaican tapas and boozy brunches, but now Three Little Birds is heading in a new direction. Owner April Jackson is turning her Coldharbour Lane bar into a restaurant serving what she calls "modern British food with Jamaican soul".

If you're wondering what that means for the menu, we're told to expect dishes like:

• Pan Seared Duck Breast, Jerk

Usain Bolt may have retired from professional athletics, but that means he's spending more time on his businesses. And one of them is his own restaurant Tracks and Records. He's launching the first one outside of Jamaica in London - expect lots of Jamaican food on the menu (and a lot of rum too).
