Tuck into posh fish and chips at Kensington Place's Beach Hut

fishkp

If you do like to be beside the seaside but can’t cope with jumping on a train, get halfway there with Kensington Place’s newest posh fishy pop up, Beach Hut with Nyetimber, which will be offering 2 and 3-course menus, and bottomless Prosecco on the weekends.

Located in the rather gorgeous Kensington Place, Beach Hut with Nyetimber will continue the restaurant’s annual fishy pop-up tradition with a new menu created by Arnold Ivey of Chelsea’s Bluebird, who’s the new head chef here. As you can probably guess from the swanky location, there won't be much in the way your usual beachside chippy vibes, but it’s still very reasonably priced with two courses costing £20, and the option to tack on a third for an extra fiver.

Some of the dishes on offer include Smoke Salmon Croquettes, Colchester Oysters, Steamed Scottish Mussels, plus Fish & Chips. If you’re shelling out for dessert then there’ll be some classic puds to follow, like an ice-cream sandwich that they’re calling an Oyster Delight, or Strawberries and Cream. And if you fancy, go at the weekend for all the Prosecco you can manage for an extra £15, which sounds like a perfect staycation activity to us.
