The Camberwell Arms sets up for the summer in Dulwich Picture Gallery's new pavilion

Visitors to the rather lovely Dulwich Picture Gallery will have even more cause to sit and soak up the surroundings when South London gastropub The Camberwell Arms launches its new bar pop-up this summer.

The pop-up will live in the gallery's freshly opened summer pavilion, and looks set to be a classy affair with a drinks menu inspired by the European contents of the gallery, like Chinotto, white port with tonic and the French aperitif Lillet, served on ice.

Food will be designed to share, and include homemade charcuterie, smoked salmon, pickles, and ice-cream. There’ll also be radishes with anchoiade, prawns with aioli, and crab on toast.

We love the idea that people can visit the Gallery and then have a drink and snack in our bar afterwards,” says head chef Michael Davies. “It is somewhere that I would love to visit myself.”
