The prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards were held in town last night and out of 620 entries from over 60 countries, London did pretty damned well when it came to winners.
City bar The Drift picked up best Standalone bar or club, The Plough in Clapham scooped Best Pub while Wolfgang Puck's Cut on Park Lane won Best Restaurant or Bar in a hotel.
Shoreditch underground restaurant Viet Hoa Mess (pictured here) won Best Standalone Restaurant and Dirty Martini in Covent Garden picked up a prize for the Best Multiple Bar or Club.
Nopi in London came out top in the Identity category and W London on Leicester Square got Best Lighting. And just outside London, the Coach House restaurant at Hatfield House won Best Cafe.
