Popular coffee chain Grind & Co are expanding south of the river, London Bridge to be exact. Their fourth site, right by Borough Market, will also be the company's first one to place a real emphasis on food.
Before now, you could get light bites in the evening along with your coffee-based cocktails, but London Grind, which will be at 2, London Bridge will have a working kitchen. They'll serve up brunch dishes like Poached Eggs with Quinoa and Datterini Tomatoes, and One-pan Eggs with Baby Spinach and Pistachio.
For the evening, the dishes become more substantial with Pan fried red mullet, cannelini beans, swiss chard, as well as a selection of cheeses, meats and exceptional oak-smoked salmon - sourced fresh from Borough Market every morning.
Also new to London Grind will be a carefully curated gin tasting list - served Pink, Collins or with Tonic, with each gin paired with a bespoke garnish.
