If today's release of the John Lewis Christmas ad made you a) cry and b) feel as if the countdown to Christmas proper had started, then you'll be wanting to head to Oxford Street. The department store's flagship shop there has launched a winter alfresco spot on their rooftop, themed around the ad.
The Lunar Lookout is the store's winter roof garden, featuring a new Christmas menu from Rossopomodoro, mulled wine, Italian hot chocolate and dessert soufflés which you can enjoy, sitting in cosy cabin snugs. Oh, and also gaze at the moon come sunset, with their special telescopes.
The Lunar Lookout will be open at John Lewis, 300 Oxford St, London W1C 1DX from Monday - Friday 1pm until closing time (closes 6pm Wednesday); Saturday 11am until closing time and Sunday 11:30am until closing time. It'll run from today until 31 December 2015.
