What: Fayre Share

In a nutshell:New Victoria Park restaurant features all sharing dishes

Summing it all up: If your idea of a great time out is breaking bread with your mates or family, then new restaurant Fayre Share in Victoria Park Village will be right up your street. Every dish here can be ordered in sharing sizes making this a great place for groups.

The low-down

Perhaps not a place for anyone who, like Smithy on Gavin and Stacey, doesn't like anyone else eating their food, Fayre Share which is about to open in East London is all about getting people together to eat.

Here, the whole point will be that the dishes are intended for folk to share. Every dish from Head Chef Luke Spencer (ex Tramshed) comes for either 1, 2 or four people. There's also a distinctly classic British feel to the menu. So you're as likely to find Arctic roll with jelly as Shepherd’s Pie on offer. And for pie lovers, every day is pie day with a new pie on rotation seven days a week.

Even the drinks are for sharing with a selection of G&Ts served in teapots - just don't fight over who's 'mother'.

As this is an East London opening, the place will be open all day for those working from home to sit and have a coffee and work or meet friends. And while the weather's great, there's a large garden at the back, complete with retractable roof which can come back across when the current heatwave ends.
