What: Daily Dose
In a nutshell: Mayfair organic juice cafe
Summing it all up: Taking over the ground floor of the Matt Roberts gym in Mayfair, this organic cold pressed juice cafe looks set to make a mint
The low-down
If location is everything, then new Mayfair juice spot Daily Dose is sorted. The brainchild of George Hughes-Davies, it's about to take over the whole of the ground floor of the Matt Roberts Personal Training Gym on Berkeley Street.
"I started juicing in my kitchen a year and a half ago," George told Hot Dinners, "and crowdfunded shortly after launching. Everything we sell is made by us in Battersea and we work closely with farms to source as much wonky category 2 fruit which they can’t sell to supermarkets." They're already stocked in places like Fortnums but this will be their first bricks and mortar spot.
On the menu will be a wide range of organic cold pressed juices, nut milks and - eek - cleansing waters. There'll be a smoothie and Acai menu and various healthy snacks like protein balls, granola, acai bowls and lots of coffee served up by an ex-Grind head barrista.
