Tom and Ed Martin (of the ETM group) are heading into late night territory with the opening of their 15th venue, The Botanist at Broadgate Circle. The huge bar and restaurant will be part of the £20 million Broadgate Circle redevelopment joining Jose Pizarro's new restaurant and coffee house Beany Green.

The new City spot (a sister venture to The Botanist on Sloane Square) will be on two levels with a ground floor bar and restaurant and - of keen interest to local workers - a subterranean Soda Room (pictured) which has a late night licence till 2am from Wednesday to Saturday. With space for 150 the Soda Room will also have pre-bookable booths, a dancefloor and live DJ nights.

Alongside the dining area and bar, there'll be a ground floor terrace. Signature dishes will include: shellfish platters; tuna tartare; Iberico pork shoulder with pickled nectarines and nasturtium; confit duck burger with blue cheese and a selection of prime cut steaks.

The Botanist will open at Broadgate Circle, City of London, EC2M 2QS (Tel 020 3058 9888) in April 2015. Opening times for the restaurant and bar will be Monday – Friday 8am – midnight, Saturday 10am – midnight and Sunday 11am – 6pm. Opening times for the Soda Room will be Wednesday - Saturday 5pm – 2am. Keep up with their news on Twitter @botanistlondon
