Bocca di Lupo, Locatelli and Umu all to pop up at Frieze Masters

Bocca di Lupo, Locatelli and Umu all to pop up at Frieze MastersEvery year Frieze Masters, the contemporary art event in Regent's Park, lines up some top restaurants to entertain potential art buyers. This year they've got a particularly good trio lined up.

Bocca di Lupo's pop-up and cafe

They've already had pop-up success with last year's Bocca in the Park and this year they're at Frieze with two pop-ups. There's Bocca Di Lupo @ Frieze which will overlook the park and is essentially a park-based version of the Soho original. And there's also Bocca Below, which will be a cafe serving coffee, pastries and salads to take with you around the fair. They'll also be launching Bocca Events - their new catering division.

Umu pop-up

The Michelin starred Japanese restaurant, UMU is returning to Frieze with a pop-up restaurant and bar. Executive Chef Yoshinori Ishii has created a special menu for the fair which promises "timeless Japanese hot dishes to signature Sashimi sustenance and inventive cocktails". Umu's owner Marlon Abela is apparently a bit of an art-lover himself, so expect to see him around the fair looking for some new additions to the restaurants...

Locanda Locatelli pop-up

Fresh from Pizza Locadeli, Giorgio and Plaxy Locatelli will be bringing back their pop-up Locanda Locatelli to Frieze. There will be a selection of pastas, salads and risottos all accompanied by Italian wines and the option to have freshly shaved truffles added to the dish of their choice (which ties in with the start of the truffle season).

Frieze and Frieze Masters runs from 15-19 October and you can book tickets on their website.
