Just opened in Parson's Green (and on soft launch till the end of February) is Bistrò by Shot. Here's what you need to know about it.
There's a local team behind it - the folks behind this all day dining space also own Shot Espresso and Ice&Slice in Fulham.
The chef has form: Chef Fabrice Meier comes here via Trinity, The Wild Game Company and One-O-One Knightsbridge.
Breakfast sounds worth a try: there'll be classics such as Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Corn Fritters plus a more extensive brunch menu on Saturdays
Their smoothies are good enough for Andy Murray: There'll be a range of superfood-inspired smoothies and juices created in conjunction with local Beyond Health physiotherapy clinic who have worked with clients such as Andy Murray.
For food - think French-Italian twist: set lunch might feature arabaccia (Tuscan Onion Soup) or Quail Leg with Orzo Pasta and Parmesan and Guinea Fowl Leg Ballotine with Carrot Purée and Nasturtium. For dinner things crank up a bit so there'll be Cucumber Cannelloni of Dorset Crab, Avocado Mousse and Soy Gel; Pan–fried Halibut with Fregola, Chargrilled Baby Leeks and Hazelnut Pesto and for dessert Pickled Ginger Panacotta with Cardamone Shortbread.
The bar will have its own bar food menu - expect aperitivo such as charcuterie, fritto misto, and seasonal specials like oysters alongside a wine and spirits list assembled in partnership with Fulham wine shop Vagabond.
Bistrò by Shot has space for 40 indoors and an outiside area with heating and a retractable roof. It's now open at 28 Parsons Green Lane, London SW6 4HS. For a soft launch promotion, their evening menu will be 50% off until the end of February. Opening hours are Mon-Fri 6am to 11.30pm, Sat: 7.30-11.30pm, Sunday 7.30-6pm.
