When Bar Boulud London opened, it quickly became known for featuring some of the best burgers in London, and Hot Dinners has personally tried them enough times to be able to say they're worth the plaudits.
Last week, Daniel Boulud was back in London to launch the latest addition to the menu - the BB Burger, the first new burger since the restaurant opened in 2010. The BB Burger is a relation of NYC's DB Burger and is topped with a layer of short ribs braised in wine, a slice of foie gras and a summer truffle garnish. So we'll certainly be beating a path to Bar Boulud's door to try that out.
The restaurant is also launching a new "Four O'Clock Menu" featuring a selection of terrines, charcuterie and various patisseries. It'll also include Asparagus Quiche Tarts, Jambon-Beurre Sandwiches, Corn Beef on Rye, Pâté Grand-Mère and Potted Mackerel Rillette as well as a selection of desserts including a particularly tempting sounding Dulce de Leche Éclair.
The BB burger is available now and the Four O Clock menu will be launching soon at £30 or £40 with a glass of champagne.
