24 hour dining in the West End as VQ comes to WC1

VQLondon's late night dining scene has been decidedly improving of late (Duck and Waffle being a particularly prime example) and now there's another 24 hour establishment coming right into the heart of town.

VQ already has its all-day-and-night restaurant in Chelsea but their new venue is much more handy for a quick post Soho/Fitzrovia session. It'll be attached to the St Giles Hotel, but still be a completely self contained venue. They'll be serving everything from all-day breakfast (including bubble ’n’ squeak and eggs benedict) to burgers, salads, sharing plates and more. And, of course, you can just pop in for desserts like apple crumble and custard or jelly and ice cream.

As for drinks, they'll have a licence that will allow them to serve booze from 8am in the morning to 2am at night.

The new restaurant will seat 120, with the design apparently focused around a "light wall" which will project various imagery throughout the day (plus a big clock, just to remind you that yes, you are having breakfast at 3am in the morning).

The new VQ opens in late October at 111a Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3NQ
