They've already got places in parks and museums across London, now the Benugo chain has won a massive contract giving them the chance to make their mark on Regent's Park.
The £20m contract gives the catering company control over The Garden Café, The Honest Sausage, the Chester Road Kiosk and the cafe at the Hub Sports facility.
Work starts in November and runs through to Spring. The Regent’s Bar & Kitchen will take over from The Garden Café and serve up family friendly dishes including wood fired pizzas, salads and healthy takeaways. Where the Honest Sausage now is on The Broadwalk, near London Zoo will be a BBQ restaurant with a menu of ribs, buns and slaw. There's going to be a smoothie and shake bar opening at The Hub and an espresso bar will take over the current Chester Road Kiosk, serving specialist single origin espresso, coffees, cakes and sarnies.
Wholly new eating places for Regent's Park and Primrose Hill will include a kiosk on Marylebone Green and a Food Truck on Primrose Hill will serve hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream and award winning Benugo coffee on the go as well as kiosks at Holme Green and Hanover Bridges.
