Brother Marcus are taking their Eastern Med plates to Covent Garden

Brother Marcus bring their Eastern Med plates to Covent Garden

1/9/24 - updated with the opening date

Brother Marcus, which has already opened in Islington, Spitalfields, Borough and Kensington, are getting ready to open their fifth restaurant. This time, it's in Covent Garden and will be the latest opening in The Yards development. They'll be taking over the site that was Miscusi and more recently hosted the Prelude by Oriole pop-up.

As with their other restaurants, it's all about Eastern Mediterranean cooking in an all-day setting (their brunches are particularly popular). Promised for the menu at the new location are dishes that include:

  • Crispy aubergine skewer, shatta herb sauce, labneh & grape molasses
  • Pan seared bream, almond & dill gremolata
  • Baklava sandwich, pistachio ice cream & honey cream

They're completely redesigning the interior, bringing in an open kitchen and as with neighbouring restaurant Lahpet, the new Brother Marcus has a pretty extensive upstairs terrace space which should prove popular should we get an Indian summer.
