He has time at some of London's best restaurants under his belt as well as a popular supperclub and now chef Joseph Denison Carey is taking over Boundary in Shoreditch for the summer.
With time at The Water House Project, Pidgin, and Caravel under his belt, as well as his own supperclub The Bread + Butter Supperclub, this new summer-long residency should be well worth a look. The chef is taking over the main ground floor restaurant for a menu of small and large sharing plates that includes:
- Pork + fennel polpette in arrabbiata sauce
- Leek Tart served with Béchamel Sauce
- Onglet + braised lettuce
- Hake + creamed spinach
- Lemon and Almond Cake
He's also bringing a tiramisu using a recipe learned from an Italian family while training at one Michelin-starred Ristorante Gellius in Italy.
Of the upcoming residency, the chef says "I’ve lived in east London for around 6 years, and the food scene here is excellent, so I can’t wait to showcase what I can do amongst all the great chefs who have made their mark on the area."
