Alley Cats Pizza are heading to Chelsea

It looks like Alley Cats Pizza is heading to Chelsea

They've been hugely popular in their first Marylebone location, with near-constant queues since they opened last year, but now Alley Cats Pizza are looking to open their second restaurant.

They've settled on Chelsea as their next location, opening on the King's Road (taking over from another pizzeria, Humble Pizza) and expect something very similar to the original.

So essentially there will be huge 14-inch NYC-style pizzas, in various flavours that range from classic marinara to tuna bonito (Tomato sauce, Ortiz Bonito del Norte tuna, aged mozzarella, kalamata olives, red onion, parsley) and Cacio & Pepe (cacio & pepe cream, black pepper, artichokes, shaved pecorino). Expect a few collabs from time to time, like the current team-up that uses Thomas Straker's butter on the dough balls.

As we originally revealed when the first restaurant opened, this happens to be owned by the same group that runs Angus Steakhouse, so expansion was always on the cards. How much of an impact this has on the queues at the original place, we'll have to see...
