They've been, literally, huge in Bristol and now the winners of the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year award are getting ready to bring their massive sandwiches to London.
The person behind it is Josh Kleiner, who runs the sandwich business with his dad and brother, and they already have five sandwich shops in Bristol. The family had eyes on the London venture after that £100k prize came from Uber Eats and now they've chosen a site in the City.
The main event is the ability to create exactly the type of sandwich you want, from a dizzying array of options. But if that's too much for you - here's a taste of their set creations:
- Spanish Chicken: roast chicken, chorizo oil and garlic soft cheese, chimichurri mayo, sliced chorizo, tomato and spinach
- Rare roast beef, rocket, tomato, red onion, horseradish mayo and onion jam
- Hoi Sin Pulled Pork: sticky hoisin pulled pork, cucumber, spring onion and iceberg lettuce
- Chicken Kyiv: breaded chicken, pulled bacon, garlic, parmesan, herby soft cheese, caramelised red onion jam, crunchy iceberg and cucumber
On top of all that, they have buns filled with BBQ burnt ends or cod goujons, flatbreads and more. Given their success in Bristol, we can see this one being extremely popular with City workers and they've already said they're looking to open another location before the end of the year.
