It's one of London's most popular food festivals and it's back at Tobacco Dock for its 11th year - Meatopia 2024 is on the way.
As ever, the festival, first launched by its founder Josh Ozersky, is mainly all about live-fire cooking, alongside a big focus on sustainability. They always manage to get an incredibly impressive line-up for the festival and here's a taste of what to expect this year:
- Melt - A Texas BBQ specialist that comes via Paris
- Ben Tish - the Cubitt House director and chef is bringing a taste of Sicily
- Adriana Cavita - Returning to the festival and mixing live-fire cooking and her Mexican dishes
- Sam York - The Michelin-starred chef of Heron in Edinburgh
- Ana Ortiz - A live-fire expert and regular at the festival, known for her banquets in Wiltshire
- Joe Couldridge - Head Chef at The Prince Arthur pub in Hackney (with time at Hawksmoor, Crocadon and Leroy too)
- Karla Zazueta - A Mexican cookery teacher, whose north Mexican cookbook, Norteña has just been released.
That's just the start, with more chefs to be announced over the summer. We'll bring you all the details as we get them.
