Mimosa is the new Mediterranean restaurant at The Langham

Mimosa is the new Mediterranean restaurant at The Langham

8/3/24 - Updated with opening details

After closing Roux at The Landau, previously run by Michel Roux Jr, the new restaurant at The Langham is about to open. Mimosa will be their main restaurant, run by the same people behind Cafe Laperouse in The OWO, The Momo Group.

Momo have many restaurants in Paris and the one they're bringing to The Langham is Mimosa (which you can also find at the Hotel de La Marine in Paris). Food-wise, it will have a Mediterranean-inspired menu, including:

  • Whole sea bass baked in salt crust with sauce vierge & warm “Cote d’Azur” style potato salad
  • “Riviera” style spit-roast corn-fed coquelet with thyme and confit lemon,
  • Gratinated Taglioni withbechamel, white ham, and Reggiano parmesan

A look at the French restaurant's menu should give you more of an idea of what's coming. Plus, as you might expect from the name, mimosas are indeed on the menu in eggs mimosa form (those are French deviled eggs) and there will be an "eggs mimosa bar" at the restaurant.

As for the design, the focus will be on the big fig tree in the centre of the room and a new coral carpet, while still keeping the classic features of the room. There's an outdoor terrace too (something which you'll be able to book for private events).
