10/1/24 - updated with the opening date
In a strong case of "you really should have renamed this before opening in the UK", Clap is coming to Knightsbridge.
Clap, a restaurant that's inevitably only going to be referred to with a definite article attached, has opened in Dubai, Riyadh and Beirut before landing in London. Referred to as "sensory Japanese dining" (which we're not sure makes it any better), Clap is going to be spread across three floors at the top of a building in Knightsbridge. That will include a rooftop bar on the 7th floor so you can experience Clap in the open air.
As for the food, it's all a bit high-end Knightsbridge including:
- Hokkaido Scallops & Foie Gras
- Wagyu Beef Tartare & Biwa Caviar
- Pistachio Crusted Baby Chicken with yuzu and daikon
And if you're after a longer experience of Clap, there will be an omakase offering too.
In a perfect example of "we don't think you're helping", CEO of ADDMIND Hospitality (the people behind the restaurant), said "Bringing CLAP to London is an exhilarating milestone for Addmind Hospitality" and "We hope that CLAP will be a great addition to the London culinary scene".
So, if you're after a good dose of Clap, you'll have to come to Knightsbridge.
