A Hot Dinners exclusive
A walk along Stroud Green Road today revealed that the finishing touches are currently being put on Hiden's new restaurant. If you haven't tried their food before, the Japanese curry specialists can also be found at Coal Drops Yard. Up in Finsbury Park they've taken over where Seasons used to be.
They serve up three iterations of the curry - original beef, a mild chicken version and vegan red lentils option. To that you can add eggs, kimchi and salad. Everything's made entirely in-house with the curry being given a slightly heftier kick than the traditional Japanese curry would "to adapt to the British taste".
Best of all for fans who've previously had to perch on outside tables in breezy King's Cross to enjoy the curry, the Finsbury Park branch we're told will have room for 23 diners inside. We can't wait.
