Drop Wine, by the team behind The Ten Cases and Parsons, were one of the first to kick off wine delivery on demand (something which proved very useful indeed during the lockdowns). On top of that, they also have a shop on Drury Lane, which is also a small wine bar (see the pic above). Next up - they're heading south to Clapham Common, and this will be both a shop and a wine bar too.
Alongside the standard range of 200 wines (promising "off-the beaten-track varieties" and "icons of the wine world with suitable cellar age"), their Clapham spot will also have wine on tap and a list of wines by the glass and carafe that will change weekly. For food, you can expect selections of British and French cheese and meats and this will also change regularly.
In charge of the Clapham Common Drop is sommelier Victor Guyonnet, previously behind the wine list at Ten Cases and Parsons - so you should be in good hands there.
