Updated 7/3/22 with soft launch info
There's a lot of change around Heddon Street at the moment. We've had the launch of Sarap, there's a David Bowie pop-up shop and we're waiting to see what's happening with the Momo space.
There's also new opening Mano Mayfair (opening where Rumours used to be), bringing Brazilian-Japanese (Nikkei) cuisine to the street, with MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist Luciana Berry in the kitchen. On the menu, there will be:
- Carne Seca Bun - dried beef in a home-made Brazilian bun
- Smoked Picanha with Yakiniku Sauce - Brazil’s national steak, hickory smoked with a traditional Japanese sauce
- Luciana’s signature Moqueca - Brazilian seafood stew with coconut milk & grilled seabass
- Pudim - Brazilian crème caramel made with tapioca, salted miso caramel & Brazil nuts.
Alexis Colletta and Romain Fargette are behind the restaurant and the look of the place should be something special - we're told to expect an Amazonian jungle exterior and inside a golden ceiling, mirrored walls and more - with DJs in place from Thursday to Saturday. All sounds like it could be a promising addition to the street.
