Antipodean-inspired East London brunch spot Friends of Ours has forged a reputation over the past few years for its amazing brunches. Now it's heading to south west London for its next venture.
The team are taking on a place at Ram Quarter in Wandsworth where they'll be able to serve up a larger menu than at their Hoxton site. There'll be a seasonal, all-day brunch menu, switching up in the evenings into a natural wine bar with small plates.
On the menu you could expect to see dishes like:
- French toast with compressed strawberries, white chocolate and miso ganache and macademia nuts
- Smoked mackerel kedgeree with asparagus, crispy chilli and homemade poppadom
- Japanese Benedict with fermented cabbage and king prawn okonomiyaki, steak, samphire, poached egg, XO hollandaise and bonito flakes
"We can’t wait to inject a bit of Melbourne’s brunch and coffee culture into Wandsworth town centre," says their co-founder Anthony Dyer.
