Until now they've been popping up across town, including their current residency at Gunmakers in Clerkenwell, but now Tigre Tacos have found a permanent home. They'll be settling in upstairs at Stoke Newington bar, Doña.
As before, the food will take its inspiration from 70s California with a menu that includes:
- Camarones Taco, made with grilled king prawns, habanero and roasted pineapple salsa
- Calabacitas - courgette, baby corn & hibiscus flowers with El Tigre’s salsa verde and crème fraiche
- Pulpo tostada - octopus ceviche on blue tostada with chilli oil
- Ice cream taco - homemade taco waffle with soft serve
Just like the bar downstairs, expect a no-holds-barred bright and colourful design, and it'll be mainly velvet banquette seating. Drinks will include mezcal cocktails, and more. If you're a fan of them at Clerkenwell, or their taco truck near London Bridge, worry not - those will also continue.
